C42 Code Gsxr 1000. 03 Gsxr 1000 Color Wiring Diagram That is why many of the aftermarket switches, and hot wiring it, does not work i am having some issues with this bike its a friends 03 gsxr 600 i keep getting a c42 code for "ignition switch signal" i am just curious if there is any way to figure out if my ignition switch is the problem..

hmmm i don't remember being able to clear the codes, i just fixed the issues and they went away Well sold my bike 3 days later the new owner says the FI light blinks and Fuel pump doesnt click on

i had him put it into dealer mode, and He got the c42 -. I replace the Ignition switch (On my 2007 gsx R 600)- Tried starting my bike and it will not turn over.it had the C42 code And I replacted the Ignition So your are getting a C42 code with the new OEM ignition switch? There is a resistor built in to the OEM switches that the ECM needs to see
